I returned to HouseSpecial as a digital modeler on this DoorDash spot used in the 2022 Tribecca Film Festival. The Animation uses practical backgrounds that were fabricated by our team. Using SketchUp and references of real NYC restaurants I modeled buildings for fabrication using 3D printing and laser cutting. I created full build-drawings for the model makers using LayOut and mocked up the sets for camera. Like the Airbnb commercial this was another tight turn-around and I had to work lightning fast to get buildings modeled and into LayOut in time for fabrication.
